This monthly dinner is a chance to learn about different cultures and the ongoing refugee crisis through homemade meals prepared by your Iraqi refugee hosts. After costs, your donations enable them to afford housing, food, and necessities.

About Your Hosts:
'S' was forcibly displaced due to the region’s instability. In 2013, when the militant organization Islamic State (ISIS) attacked her city, she fled to Bangkok. 'D 'was persecuted in Baghdad due to her religious beliefs. The violence and intimidation from the Mahdi Army prompted her family to seek refuge in Thailand. Thanks to culinary training, they are reclaiming their independence and identity.
