In February 2020, we opened the doors of theCOMMONS Saladaeng as a place for the community to enjoy wholesome activities, enriching relationships, and this charming neighborhood. Just walk down the tree-lined street of Saladaeng Soi 1 and you’ll spot our red roofs. This design pays homage to the red-roofed train station that existed in this area during King Rama V’s reign.  

Our red roofs are one element in a synergy of design that our architects at Department of Architecture created with such care. Now, in 2021, we truly appreciate the recognition from the German Design Awards and Prix Versailles for theCOMMONS Saladaeng. 

We are grateful that theCOMMONS Saladaeng was recognized by the German Design Awards as the Gold Winner, Excellence in Architecture (Retail), by the German Design Council.  

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the Prix Versailles 2021 for honoring theCOMMONS Saladaeng with South Asia and the Pacific’s special prize for an Exterior (Shopping Malls category). 

It truly takes a village to turn a dream into a reality. We are sending our warmest congratulations and thanks to our architects at Department of Architecture and everyone who helped make our community space, theCOMMONS Saladaeng, possible. รางวัลผลงานการออกแบบแห่งปี 2021 กับ theCOMMONS ศาลาแดง

เมื่อเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ ปี พ.ศ. 2564  ที่ผ่านมา theCOMMONS ศาลาแดง ได้เปิดให้บริการ เป็นคอมมูนิตี้แห่งใหม่ แหล่งรวมกิจกรรม สถานที่พบปะสังสรรค์ ให้คนที่ชอบอะไรคล้ายๆ กันได้มาพบปะ และแน่นอนว่าหากคุณเดินเข้ามาตามซอยศาลาแดง 1 ใต้ร่มไม้สีเขียว คุณจะต้องสะดุดตากับอาคารหลังคาสีแดงของเราแน่นอน  

หลังคาสีแดงนี้เป็นองค์ประกอบสำคัญที่เหล่าสถาปนิกของเราได้ค้นคว้า คิด วิเคราะห์ และพัฒนาอย่างตั้งใจ ได้แรงบันดาลใจจากหลังคาสีแดงของสถานีรถไฟที่เคยอยู่ย่านนี้ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 และในปี พ.ศ. 2564 นี้ theCOMMONS ศาลาแดง ภูมิใจเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่ได้รับรางวัลด้านการออกแบบถึง 2 รางวัลจาก German Design Awards ประเทศเยอรมันนี  และจาก Prix Versailles ประเทศฝรั่งเศส  

โดย theCOMMONS ศาลาแดง ได้รับรางวัล Gold Winner สาขา ผลงานการออกแบบยอดเยี่ยม สาขา ร้านค้า จาก German Design Awards โดยสภาการออกแบบเยอรมัน (German Design Council) และรางวัลพิเศษผลงานการออกแบบภายนอกอาคารดีเด่น ในแถบเอเชียใต้และแปซิฟิก สาขาศูนย์การค้า จาก Prix Versailles 2021

นับว่าเป็นฝันที่เป็นจริงสำหรับ theCOMMONS Saladaeng เราขอปรบมือให้กับเหล่าสถาปนิกของเรา และทุกๆ คน ที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ theCOMMONS ศาลาแดงที่ช่วยเหลือ สนับสนุน และสร้างให้สถานที่แห่งนี้เป็นคอมมูนิตี้ที่สมบูรณ์
